Welcome to February EEC Families,
We have made it 23 months through a pandemic and we have done so with minimal interuptions.
STAFFING:
For Spring and Fall: We are currently hiring! If you know anyone looking for part-time or full-time teaching opportunities, we are willing to train and certify the right candidates.
Immediate:
(These are hard to find replacements, and they have HUGE shoes to fill as our current interns are amazing)
We are doing a search to replace some of our high school interns who are playing spring sports. We are looking for 3-4 students, high school or college with the ability to work 3-5 days per week from 3pm-5:45pm daily. This is a great opportunity to gain work experience, have fun playing with children, working in a group environment, and gaining necessary leadership skills. If you have someone in mind please have them email their interest to admin@eecde.org. Also please feel free to share within your networks.
That being said, at the end of February, we will be making some slight changes that might temporarily reduce planning time for teachers. We will be doing journals bi-weekly instead of weekly just temporarily, as well as reducing some internal responsibilities to make sure teachers have the time they need.
ENROLLMENT:
The inn is FULL. We have very limited summer openings, and we are only accepting infants for Fall 2022. We do already have significant infant enrollment for Fall 2022 and Winter 2023. If you are referring anyone, or expecting, please pick up an application. We have waitlists for all age groups for summer and fall 2022. We do give priority to current families and those related to current or former families.
PreK 4 families with children entering Kindergarten. If you could let us know by February 28th when your child's last day will be, it will help us plan for Summer and Fall.
MASKS:
Childcare and schools are still required to have adults masking through March 31, 2022. We are NOT part of the lifted mask requirements that starts tomorrow. Please continue to mask when entering the building and while picking up your child.

We have EEC spirit wear available for purchase.

Adult t-shirts are $15
Adult crew neck sweatshirts are $20
Both our spirit wear sales and pizza sales go to support our teachers attending the NAEYC national conference.
