January Hours Updates

Good afternoon EEC Families,

The new year has brought some trying times. Omicron has definitely impacted our operations. We are thankful that we have avoided total center shut down. We have seen an increase in cases in both children and staff. Luckily cases have been mild, but it still impacts all of us. We have only been able to avoid shut down because of the reduced hours.

We will continue to operate 7:30am-4:30pm thru January 28th. We are able to accommodate limited number of families who need care outside of those hours. Please email admin@eecde.org to arrange. If we are able to increase hours before then we will communicate it.

If someone in your immediate household is sick, please test, please keep your children home. If your child is sick, please keep them home. Regardless of COVID-19, kids need to stay home when sick. To this point I feel like a broken record. We are awaiting the newest round of regulations and restritions from Delaware Department of Health. We are awaiting an update from the Office of Childcare Licensing on how the updates impact childcare.

These are not easy decisions to make. We thank you for your continued support throughout these most difficult times.
