Good afternoon EEC families -
I apologize for the late notice. We do have to reduce hours starting Friday, May 12th-Friday, May 26th. We will be open 8am - 5pm. We do have care available for those families who need care before or after. Please just email 48 hours in advance admin@eecde.org so we can plan accordingly. If you have a last minute need - please don't hesitate to let us know.
This is due to college schedule changes, unexpected schedule changes, and other life challenges. We appreciate your support. I will also be holding a voluntary parent meeting on Thursday, May 18th at 8:30am (in person). This will discuss staffing, hours, tuition updates, and classroom transitions (summer and fall). Everything covered will also be communicated in a follow-up email.
We are excited to welcome Ms. Allie Marvel back as a floater. She started in at EEC in 2012 and left just prior to the pandemic. She has taught in all ages. She has a Bachelor's degree in early childhood education and a certification in special ed.
As we have prioritized over the last three years - we cannot work without our staff. Rather than send daily updates with changes going to a fixed schedule should prevent any other scheduling changes.
