Help if you can...

Good afternoon EEC families,

It is with a heavy heart that we have been notified that our night time janitor's son was a victim of gun violence in Wilmington, and hit by stray bullits recently. Thankfully he survived but he has a long road to recovery. He is currently still receiving medical care and has a long road to recovery, but when he returns home he will need extra time and help from his family. Due to this our staff member will not be able to work in the evenings and have a loss of income.

I am putting together a small fund that we can help support him and his family during this difficult time. Our goal is to provide money for their cost of living for at least a month. If you feel inclined to do so, please drop a check (made out to EEC) or cash to the front office. We will be collecting throughout the month of July.

Thank you so much. While most of you have never met or interacted with him, he made sure our classrooms were clean and ready for us each morning, and we hope to be able to support him in this difficult time.
