Friday News!

Happy Friday Afternoon –

Just wanted to send out a few quick reminders! Hopefully the transitions to new rooms have gone well. Please let us know if you have any questions.

The Office of Childcare Licensing and Department of Health COVID-19 restrictions are still in place. I know this can make it difficult when your child is under the weather, but we are NOT able to vary from these requirements.

I have heard that “other centers” are making up looser rules. These are a violation of state regulations. We will continue to inform families when changes occur. Please also note, our standard Health Exclusion Policies are still in place and can be found in the Parent Handbook.

Here is a copy of our current regulations: https://education.delaware.gov/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/occl_DPH-Guidance_210513.pdf

Some reminders:

  • Daily health screening questions are on the entrance way

  • Temperature checks still need to be done daily

  • One way in and one way out We know this requires extra steps, but it’s actually much safer for accounting for the children Please follow the arrows from front door to rear exit.

  • Masks must be worn by all adults in the hallways

  • Parents are not allowed inside the classrooms

  • Drop offs should be quick

  • Call any day from 1pm-4pm

SUNSCREEN: Please make sure your child arrives with sunscreen on. We reapply throughout the day.

LABEL EVERYTHING:

· Lunch items: all containers

· Extra clothes, water cups, towels, bathing suits
